My Generals Need "Rehab"
a few of my generals are alcoholics, which is a great hinderance on their command and authority skill.
if tried using remove_trait this drunk, alcholic, drinker etc.
how do i get rid of this trait? how do i get rid of the "Ignorant" trait, too?

Re: My Generals Need "Rehab"
Brothels in any settlement or castle with your General garrisoned will probably make them a drunky.

remove_trait this Drink
That's what you want. Ignorant is a trait level of the Ignorance trait (so use remove_trait this Ignorance).

Re: My Generals Need "Rehab"
Can the Muslim factions get drunkard generals? If so they should have zero piety.

Re: My Generals Need "Rehab"
I think it might go away if you get him back into action. The longer you leave a general or family member doing nothing the more negative traits they will pick up. If he has piled up numerous negative traits put him on a boat and try to discover the new world. That should keep him out of your hair for a while.

Re: My Generals Need "Rehab"
There's a difference between being ignorant and stupid. Just dump a general in a developed city and build build build. This also means they have less time to get drunk (i think). If you are at the level though, the best thing to do is have a uni. Send the fool back to school. Naval academies might help, i'm not sure.

Re: My Generals Need "Rehab"
Building or not building doesn't matter, the triggers stay the same. And as far as I know, the only way to remove the Drink trait is by having your character get a child or marrying him.
