How can I change year / turn ratio?

Hi, I'm a fan of SS. I'm currently using 5.1 with Ateagina's mini-mod.

I love playing as denmark or scotland in the late era, however, the year / turn ration is 2 turn : 1 year. Do you know how I can manually change it to be 1:1? If you do, tell me what to change in what file. Thanks

go to descr_strat and find these lines in the top:

start_date 1080 summer
end_date 1530 winter
timescale 2.00

this is for the early campaign, the timescale is 2.00 wich means 2 years per turn if you want 1 year per turn set it to 1.00 and if you want 6 months per turn set it to 0.50. that is all I suppose? 0.50 is the lowest you can do anything lower wil just be treated as 0.50 .
also you may have to delete them map.rmw in the Base folder. the early campaign Descr_strat is found in Data/world/maps/campaign/imperial campagn.

for the late era it is in Data/world/maps/campaign/Custom

what hellfire told you was correct. but you might also want to change building times, otherwise you might end up with fortresses and the best units by late 1100 early 1200.

hmmm you are correct there. depending on how much you decraes I would recomend you to do the folowing: if it first stated 1.00 and you changed it to 0.50. simply double the building times.
