I wanted to copy my SS 5.1 saved games but I couldn't find the folder anywhere. I do have saves because I can load my campaigns, is it stashed away somewhere or under a different name?

If your using Vista its in your VirtualStore directory.

C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\saves

yea vista's a pain

they are inside your mods/Stainless_Steel/saves directory. Each mod has separate saves.
