Faction you had the funnest time with and why?

Why was a certain faction so fun? I'll have to say scottland cause you only start with 1 city and you are on the isles.

I gotta agree. Scotland was the most fun of all. Good in campaign and Britania too. Could have used more bagpipes for background music especially during battles, but that would give the Scots even more of an advantage as horses and camels and elephant and wimps bolt upon hearing the skreel.

I like Byzantines for historical reasons but Venetians and Sicilians are very nice as well - good units and nice starting locations.

I'd have to say Moors, they make a nice change (visually as well as statistically) from Western Europe. Also constant Jihads and so forth. More specifically, Camel Gunners and Christian Guards. Bugle!

Ireland.

They have a small unit roster, but the units they do have are pretty decent. I'm a huge fan of the Muire.. 30 unit, 2hp swordsmen. Grouped together, they can really hold their own.

Venice, the economic potential and wealth of the area surrounding was huge. I loved it.

England-my best game was when i played them,good map location,love their units (oh ,my sweet longbowmen

) it was damn fun when i arrived in the new world and after one or two battles my army was decreased already so i had to run from this cursed jungles to save my pity skin with hundreds of bloodthirsty aztecs behind me

If it wasn't for the ****** cavalry behaviour I had to experience with the scots, I'd say them.
But this way, I go for the danish and the byzantines.

The danish just have great infantry aswell as a relatively good starting point (the others -except HRE- likely won't attack you for your isolation, but you may just ship over behind them and BAM!). And they are norse.

The byzantines, besides the venetians, have the best starting position of all factions IMO and very good infantry aswell. Not to forget the economics.

Apart from that any unusual/difrent fractions are always fun

Poland! I was pleasantly surprised how big a kingdom i could make before going to war and when i finally attacked someone it was russia so no problem with popeyboy

The szeckley are amazing with their armour piercing also
