Units always needing to be Retrained?

In my Caen settlement, I train Longbowmen and Mailed Knights. Settlement scroll then says they need retraining, so I do so.

The option to retrain the same units is always there.

Is this a bug and how can I fix it?

it is a bug
you have to put them to retrain as the last thing to do before you push the end turn button

That is a bug. I don't remember the solution but there is something you can do to correct this. I stumbled upon it while reading in the forums. Hopefully someone will know the answer or you can find it. either way, good luck with it.

I found a solution once, but it didn't work for me. The workaround is not to save/load a game while having units in the retrain queue.

Before you end the turn move the unit out and then back into the settlement. Then set it to retrain.
