Default siege machines and archers experience..

whats the difference between catapults or ballistas with some experience and machines without experience at all?...Unlike the rest of militar units, dont improve their characteristics...

When archers gain experience, they improve in melee attack, but no in range attack, and i dont know why ....i think it has no sense because archers kills the most of their victims with arrows, not in melee combat..:hmmm:

    greetings !!

I think when artillery units have more experience, they have more ... artillery.

The same as for all missile units. Better accuracy.

do a custom battle with two units of bowmen. One raw recruit and the other triple gold chevron. Use flaming arrows and the differrence will be apparrant, although IMO not nearly as pronounced as I think they should be. The recruits are fine, but by the time a unit is gold chevroned they should be able to put every single arrow on the mark even at the extreme limits of their range.

When small men attempt great enterprises, they always end by reducing them to the level of their mediocrity.

Yeah. With gold chevrons, they should be a commando of Legolas class archers. :-)
