Ok, Now What do I Need to do?

I'd like to try SS again but want to make sure I have the latest version. Should I wait for 5.2? If not then what are all the tweeks and mods to the mods that should be installed.

So far I have:

Lusted's AI
Hotfix #1(only one version?)

and I'm stuck.

I'll try the surreality traits out of curiosity so I'll keep them in. What else do I need?

Do try to read the full guide to reality traits before you go in there unarmed, it's a cold and dark place.

5.2 will be fun, especially new factions. But 5.1 also has a lot to offer. My suggestion is, try 5.1 and see for yourself if it's bearable. (Norway is fun.)

Well I think going to 6.0 should polish some things up. Lusted is continually making changes to his AI to improve it, and his newest version should be in 6.0. Secondly, last I read, KK is trying to make 6.0 work with or without Kingdoms. This should help out since then we only have to try and troubleshoot 1 set of problems, instead of two. And as well as introducing new factions, I believe he's trying to bug fix things as well. As I always say, I can not speak for KK, and what I just said could be 100% incorrect.

you just need 5.0 and 5.1 with the #1 bug fixes. that is it as far as i know

The 5.2 is not planned, AFAIK... The Hotfix still not got some really latest fixes, for them you should surf the last pages of this thread and the threads created corresponding to certain bugs... I usually pack all the files available and compile them into a Fix Pack... You can get the last updated version here.

Curently the Fix Pack includes the Hotfix #1 and got some more recent fixes, as well as optional update to Lusted's AI, used in SS 5.1.

I take back all the bad things I said before. The quality of 5.2 with the add-ons is just about as good as LTC. However, 5.2 has a whole lot more stuff, I like it.
