Unit weapons disappear

Hello,

I'm currently playing RTW Vanilla 1.3. I've added some new units from other mods. I've gotten several to work, but am having problems with others.

1) I have sword unit implemented. It shows up on the battle field and works fine, however the swords that they are holding are invisible. They kinda just hack at the enemy with make-believe swords.

I've tried several different things, but does anyone know what specifically this problem could relate too? Is it a texture, skeleton, some setting I don't know about?

It's been really annoying and any help would be much appreciated.

It has to do with the cas model. Some model only has spears and some only have swords, Some has both spear and swords. You have to use 3ds max to modify the units.

It is strange though. When I set the same sword unit as an officer, the weapons show up...

For example, my lastest test had the same sword unit as both the soldier and as two officer units in the same group.

The soldiers had invisible swords, but the officers had everything display properly. Any ideas as to why?

Does the unit have a primary and secondary weapon? If so thats the problem. Check export_descr_unit if it does that is the problem. Make sure the unit only have one weapon.

The EDU listing has a primary, but the secondary wepon is 'none'. It's weird...like I've mentioned, the units look like they're holding a sword and attack like they're holding a sword, but you can't see the sword.

But at the same time, if the same model is used as an officer (either in the same unit or as an officer in a different type of unit) the sword shows up....

Could this be a skeleton problem?
