    Default crossbows and storms...

    crossbow arrows are shooted like bow arrows (making a curvature and falling over the enemy for long distances)...how can i change it, making arrows were launched in a straigth line??

    how can i increase the frecquency of storms??

    if i do these changes, can i playing my saved games normally?

    About your crossbow question: You can lower the max_angle of crossbows in the descr_projectile.txt file. Be warned though, if you lower this too much, your crossbows won't be able to fire over the battlement, and will therefore be useless for defending cities/castles.

    Can't help you with the storms.

    With the changes in the descr_projectile.txt you can surely use your old savegames.

    has someone changed it before¿?¿?...what could be an aproppiate max/min angle to avoid these effects?

    Simply put you either have them firing in a flat trajactory like a, umm crossbow, or arc like an arrow. The former option will however, as mailor said, confuse the CA engine and stop them from working on battlements. There is no good angle for both unfortuneatly.

    As to storms, there is a weather_db.xml file in the data folder which controls how bad they are, don't know if it controls the frequency, as never played with that part.
