F.A.U.S.T
Hey folks, has anybody created (or want to create) a unit list like this one for SS? Would be nice to have a breakdown of all of the units.

Re: F.A.U.S.T
Alright, here is my 0.5 version for SS 5.1
It has a lot of the same information as FAUST for 1.2. Key differences, it doesn't look very good yet. It doesn't include unit default morale, and attack traits (like AP and AC). It also has a few errors, such as anything to do with the words Cavalry, Infantry, Heavy or Light. These errors will be fixed in the next version. Also, some factions are missing some units, that is because I hadn't yet placed all units with all factions. Basically the units that belong to a group of factions instead of each faction enumerated have yet to be listed. You can find those units on the last few pages.
The above things to do are why this is version 0.5. I'm busy now so I Cant fix everything, like the naming mistake (Alan L C for example, should be Alan Light Cavalry). Anyways, the attachment is below. If you'd like the excel file that I used to create this bastard, you can request that, although I need to fix the errors in it as well.
Edit: In conclusion, this version is of questionable quality, but I hope it can hold you over for some time.
Edit: See next post for latest version, keeping this here so people can understand what happened between this and next version.

Re: F.A.U.S.T
Here is the latest version of my FAUST 0.6 (Faction And Unit Stat Tables).
I have moved all siege weaponry and ships to there own section at the bottom. This has allowed basically each faction to have one page, while a few of the large factions take up two. I have also fixed the naming problem. I have also distributed the remaining units. A few factions may be missing one or two units, or have one or two units they should not. If you notice this, please tell me the errors.
Note, I have not separated out Mercenary and Custom Battle units from factions yet. So factions may have units only available to them as mercenaries or in custom battles.
Update 0.61
Fixed Siege Weapons Stats
Added alternating background color for PDF version. If no one likes this I can remove it.
Got rid of most of the random blank lines
Got all factions but HRE to fit into one page. Why does HRE have so many units? GAO
Things left to do:
Add in final stats, such as AP, AC and morale.
Seperate recruitable and custom battle/mercenary units.
Beautify to BrandyBarrel's standard
File Notes
Both files have been placed in a zip. You need winzip or winrar to extract the actual FAUST file from the zip. You can get winrar for free at www.rarlab.com
The first file is in pdf format. You can view it via Adobe Acrobat Reader, which can be obtained free at http://www.adobe.com/products/acroba...?promoid=BONRM
The second file is in xls format, which is the format for Microsoft Excel. If you do not have excel, I do not recommend getting this file. It can also be read in Open Office Spreadsheet, which is free, although it isn't the greatest piece of software.

Re: F.A.U.S.T
They're both zip files, so you need winzip or winrar to unzip them. You can get winrar at www.rarlab.com. The first file is in pdf format, and can be viewed with Adobe Acrobat Reader (Which is free off the adobe website www.adobe.com). The second file is in xls format which is the Excel file format and requires Microsoft Excel (not free) to read. Other readers, such as Open Office Spreadsheet (is free, although kind of sucky) can also read the xls format. If you do not have Excel, I recommend the first file.

Re: F.A.U.S.T
Thank you very much! I love pre-planning my empires before I sit down to a lengthy campaign. This guide will help me figure out army composition, which faction I want to play, what strengths my faction will offer, etc.
Any intent to re-create the F.A.U.S.T. with the unit images in it? That too would be very helpful. Thanks again for the work you've done so far!

Re: F.A.U.S.T
Right now I'm trying to get the F.A.U.S.T. to look as much like the excellent work done by Brandybarrel for 1.2. The conversion from Excel to however he or she organized the file is the next step (I'm thinking latex).
As for F.U.S.I.L., while I'd like to do it, it is rather a dominating task, and I'll probably wait till 6.0 is released before considering a FUSIL.
