    Default Strange Family Occurances

In my current English campaign I've had 10 new family members, 8 of which have been female, including 6 in a row.

Also, Henry deserted! I'd never seen that before in any build in any game in the TW series. Crazy.

Also, I'm not an expert on the terms of medieval succession by any means, but did this scenario play out right:

King William dies and heir Robert takes throne. however, William's son-in-law is named heir presumptive in leiu of William's 2nd son, who was his third child. The son-in-law's wife was William's 2nd child. I thought that the succession follows male descendants and only passed to spouses in the event a male heir of blood relation was not available in that generation. Wrong?

    Thanks

Was his 2nd son of age yet? If the rightful heir isn't of age (16) then the succession moves to someone else.

He was of age, around 30 or so

It's just tough luck to have that many female family members. The chances of having 80% female ar slim, but it can happen. Those princesses will eventually find someone to marry, giving you some more males again.
