    Default Little mod

I made this little mod because i was bored to see the original look of MTW II.

The screenshots are made in SS 5.1 early era campaign .

IMO The trade ship with banner is far nicer , I would make that the default and forget the other. Nice work.

To err is human, but to really foul things up you need a computer.

These are pretty awesome, save game compatible right?, Thanks and +rep

Oh wait one thing, do I extract to the "data" in Stainless Steel or in the main Medieval II folder?

    Well, off to sleep...

    Sure.It´s save compatible.

I´t very simply. You must put the files into the data you use in game.

If you put the file into the MTWII data, they will work with the org version of medieval, but if you play any mod such as Britannia (kingdoms) or SS 5.1,you must put the files into those data folder.

    which files?

Please don't assume all members of this forum know everything about mods and how to install them.

The self extracting mods (such as SS) are easy. Installing this mod is not easy for me.

I extracted the files and put them in my data folder.

Nothing changed in game. I started a new campaign - still the same siege and trade ships.

Please explain exactly which folders go where for vanilla (I can do the same for SS later).

    for exmple:
atm I have C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\data\beutiful minimod for MTWII by Riczu74\data\models_strat\residences\textures

which even I can see looks borked.

    What do you mean by:

    ABOUT THE TRADE SHIP

The trade ship have 2 options. You can use the version with or without banner on the sail.

Default is the one without banner. You can change it by overwriting the tga.dds file.

Which .tga file? Overwritten with what ?

Sure, but the banner are not the best choice for the same factions.Islamic or east factions are not represented.

In any event i´m happy that you like that.
