Corpse retexture?

is it possible to retex corpses and has anyone done one for bloody corpses (NOT the blood mod - i hate that thing - doesnt work with rtw 1.5!)

I don't believe so... I think its just the model and texture of the soldier when he's alive. It might be rendered in some sort of different way in order to decrease the load on the system... but otherwise dead units are pretty much the same as live ones.
