Training sons
Which is the best way to train a son in the cities? I know you just put them in there for 4 years like college and they get traits but which buildings effects which triats you get? Or just some info on this would be nice. I have someone ready to be trained and Im thinking of training him in Jersulem for a year then moving him over to Antioch for the remaining 3 years.
I'm not sure which is a good way to go about this.

Re: Training sons
As my understanding from export_descr_character_traits, buildings do not matter except churches in cities and garrison quarters in castles. If you have these buildings or greater, you can get the castle education traits (squire -> knight) or city education traits (novice -> ordination). Also, your capital is special and can give capital education traits, which are paige -> enobled. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure. KK or others may be able to elaborate more.

Re: Training sons
I've never gotten anything about Paige/Page or Enobled from my capital city, but I have gotten Courtly Education. I assumed that the latter (which affects Law, Authority, and some other stuff) was what one gleaned from the capital...
Cheers.

Re: Training sons
To be honest, I was just going by the names in the EDCT and figured they were the same names. Looking at export_vnvs file, I see that the actual descriptions are as you say, not that I doubted you.
