Bad News.......

Well I just found out from my OIC that I'll be deployed in the mid east in 2 weeks in support of "the war on terror". I guess I have to get prepared and set my priorities. I dont think I'll be able to help out tone and AE in the modelling/skining. But I'll try to be in the forum whenever I get to a computer. I'll be gone for atleast 6 months hopefully no more.

Unfortunately I'm the lucky one who got the raffle out of the hat. So I'm the only one from my command that will be deploying. I got to got to basic combat/tactical training somewhere in North Carolina for 3 weeks then I ship out. I think I'll only be doing security instead of the grunt work like the Marines.

We really don't do too much patrolling anymore, so says my buddies that are there right now. Don't be surprised if the Iraqi's do alot of the work. Keep you head down and your rifle clean!

bout two hours from here ok town. thats where my father went for basic training in the army waay back in 1980
