    I choose the fifth option.

    No one should be thrown down a well because such an action would be directly harmful physically and mentally, and is therefore ethically reprehensible under the ethics system I follow.

    Furthermore, the question does not explain what "DarkProphet" has done to merit being chucked down a well. Has he simply committed a social taboo? Or has he actually done something illegal and harmful, which should be counteracted to make sure he does not commit said illegality again? If we cannot ascertain how much damage can be avoided by causing harm to "DarkProphet", how can we accurately gauge what action must be undertaken, and if it should involve harm or physical punishment.

    2. You're trying to prove a point by being thrown down a well...so *That there last step is a doosie Mistar. Prophet!*

    3. Discuss the physical attributes of the well with you, and persuade you to do it. (have you ever seen a well? I had one out back, and lockstep legions of cockroaches came out of it.)

    No, because the powers that be will decide that the well, which was beautiful to sit by, stare into and generally daydream around needs to be fenced up for 'our' safety. All in case anyone else gets thrown into it, thereby removing any pleasure or usefulness gained from the well. Leave the well out of it. It was a nice well.
