    Viva Espana !

You know the Catholic Church would not allow a widow to re-marry if there was no body. So Catholic ships ( for example Spain ) had to carry the corpses home. You spend 4 weeks in a ship full of rotting bodies after a battle. Take that Mister fancy-pants Nelson.

Anyway, I wish I could read this.

Bollocks. The Spanish maintained one of the greatest empires the world has every seen from overseas, just like the British. It wasn't seamanship they lacked, just enough of them.

And the ST's sailing qualities were ruined by the late addition of her fourth gun deck, which was in any case a measly battery of 6-pounders added to the gangways. And for all that she was smaller than the new French 120-gunners.

Give that to Nelson and a contingent of Royal Marines and you have a killing machine to rival the Death Star...

We put Nelson in a barrel of RUm, only the British would chuck their hero in with some alchohol...

I don't think she looks ugly at all ... every wooden ship ever made looked better then the metal monstrocities we have build since then.
