I wasn't really impressed with it. Too many re-skins and the only campaign that held my interest for some time was the Crusades. The others were simply meh.

It's a good game after all, but not really inmersive.

I hope you will enjoy it, I have played for an hour or two and then dropped it. The only thing that saved it in my case was mod that requires it.
Expansion all by itself is a waste of money...
I was really counting on a full multiplayer campaign...

I personally really enjoyed it. If you enjoyed Medieval 2 you will enjoy this.

The expansion is worth it, 4 small campaigns to play on with a lot of different features and using retrofit mod add those features to the grand campaign. You get two good things out of one.

I agrees wit DaChevy, dis game aint too immersin. I treid it in da hot tub an alz i gots wuz a mild shok. So if'n ya does git it fur xmas be sur to keap it on da shelv.

i found Stainless Steel better than the Crusades Campaign (tho i must admit i played at the byzantines and was bored to tears).

Currently im doing the america's campaign, which seems slightly more promising.

Overall im finding the game mostly the same as m2, and not even as challenging.
