I need Help about year-limit

Hello everyone, my english is not very well but i will try to explain.

I achieved my objected in short campaign, the turns remaining is 0, but the game does not end! i want to know wich is the maximum year that the game can go? ( iam right now in 1504 AD i think).

1530 is the unmodded default for the Grand Campaign.

but.. what will happen when i reach this date? the game will end or i can continue without year-passing?

I am fairly certain the game will end.

As far as I know you can play even till year 2000 if you want - you have an option asking if you would like to continue to play after the frametime of the grand campaign ends...
