Kingdom of Jerusalem: creating a Family Tree (details inside)**Completed!**
I have made a KoJ family tree for the 5.1 SS. Below are the two files (SM_factions to make family tree available and the Descr_strat to make the actual tree)
The only aspects of both files I have changed are involved with the KoJ faction and its generals. No other aspects of the file have been changed.
If you are hesitant to use either file send me a PM and I will copy/paste the changes made.
D/L Descr_strat to: \MedievalIITotalWar\mods\Stainless_Steel\data\world\maps\campaign\custom\Late_Era_Campaign
The Descr_sm_factions to: \MedievalIITotalWar\mods\Stainless_Steel\data
Again, nothing in the mod has been changed except the KoJ family tree, which makes it available for the late-era campaign. This will remove the "order" system currently in place and treat it like a royal family with a family tree.
Enjoy KoJ with a family tree
EDIT:
files work properly (tested for 50 turns, and until everyone recieved children)
Reccomended for only 5.1 users! If you are using this with your own modifications, I will help you via PM's if you recieve an error.

Nice, I'm just curious, did you take the current generals and seed the family using it or did you try to actually build a family based on anything historical?

Not work how? Did you put each file in the appropriate folder? overwrite the previous one?
As for question about the generals, I changed some and kept others. Baldwin was given the title from Baldwin I, Reynald was included...but Charles is fictional. I put him in for looks since I could not get Balian of Ibelin to input correctly.

Thanks for making this, I was just trying this myself last night. Although I have made some changes in mine, like adding KoJ to the early campaign. I didnt want to overwrite that so I was trying to copy and paste from your file. After doing that I get this error in the system log and the campaign wont start
22:22:54.591 [script.err] [error] Script Error in mods/Stainless_Steel/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/descr_strat.txt, at line 4524, column 75
could not find next child. Children list must be terminated with an end

Kyias, you need to put spaces around the traits in the descr_strat file (I believe). So something like Good Defender 4, etc.. should be Good Defender 4 , etc... with a space at the end of the list too. I haven't actually tested to see if this fixes it due to laziness.

gah....ok, I going to pull this until (and if) I can get it worked out...
thanks and sorry guys.
edit: I believe I found the reason for the error...I was overzealous with special names and forgot that the faction leaders name passes down to people related directly to him through males.
As a result, I believe the error occurred because when a child was born it had a conflict in its last name...because according to what I designated, it would have had two of them which it cannot support.
I included a test file here,if some would be willing to try it, and report back that would be great.
I tested it, until everyone had at least 1 male child and recieved no errors so it should be usable, but I would rather put it out as a test before saying it's "finished" just to make certain everyone else is getting the same results.
Files enclosed: follow same install instructions as above and thanks for your help.

Messed around with the mod for a few turns and Baldwin never recieved a marriage offer. Now I know that isnt a lot of time to mess around with it but is he able to recieve offers? I got adobation offers.
