Engine is vanilla EB, with advanced AI, EAEM is a modification of EB.
Also, the way you play is the way you make money, try use or disband army right away, this mod is really hard to play![]()

I've no idea what causes the error, I've never experienced anything like that. In fact, Alexander EB is more stable, than vanilla EB. It haven't crashed so far.
So, the error appeared with and without latest fixes?

Fixes are save game compatible, they are some texture issues, so no worries.

I 'v applied latest fixes so i hope doesn't happen again,but worried i'll fight a battle as hard as that again and it won't reload (i lost by the way fighting GALLATIANS ! the Basilieus was killed also ;which just so happens to have been his historical fate )anyhow ,it didnt mention specific textures just something about destroying or words to that effect textures already destroyed .What ever that means!![]()
ON ANOTHER NOTE is there a way of keeping all my BASILEUS either called Seleukos or Antiochos ? might seem petty but i'd like it just give it that extra little feelin of real! also a question about MACEDON ,is it possible to give them Elephants ? there is evidence of herds being kept at Pella. ALSO does anyone know how the ANTIGONIDS refered to them selves was it basileus of makedon ? i know we refere to them as ANTIGONID DYNASTY but is that just the same thing as byzantine ie a modern invention. thanks .
Sorry no more multiple posts !!!! the error occurs with fixes,its just occured to me i'v installed the "force diplomacy!" mod for EB1.2 dont know if that would have any bearing on textures but suppose could do ,iam taking drastic action unintall /reinstall

EAEM is not friendly to any other submods, if you instal any other mods you are doing it on your own and that will probably crash your game

anyone playing Makedonia in AEB? its hell fighting those Eprius. lol.
i killed faction leader in their 2nd town in a costly battle against their faction leader. Now im planning to build a new one and mix the old with the new one and then figure out how to take their capital who still have 2 full stacks.

I get an error trying to start it up. Here is an image of the error message. I installed a fresh EB 1.1 + 1.2, then I installed the fixes. After that I installed EAEM and the fixes for it.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
If you installed the latest fixes (EAEM_fixes_04172009), then check if your export_descr_unit.txt in EB\Data folder has a size of 576kB and date 2009-02-24.
If not, then for some reason EB restored vanilla EB file. You must copy EAEM export_descr_unit.txt with above mentioned characteristics from the latest fix package to the EB\Data folder.

Hey, your right. I think it may have done that because I was tinkering with the preferences. Anyway, thanks for the help. I look forward to trying out some of those Chinese units.
Edit : Wow, been playing for a bit. I can't believe how much of an improvement this engine is over vanilla Rome. The AI is actively using navies, it is working better on the campaign map. The battle AI is a bit better but not too much, atleast it makes more of an effort now and goes for weak points. Oh, and I like how the independent cities are now really independent, their armies make them feel more like real citystates rather than just pushovers.
Edit #2 : I noticed a little bug in my campaign. The AI produces these full-stacks but I've noticed that they don't really move they around much. Epirus has a full-stack garrison and two full-stacks (Phyrrus and his son) just standing there outside it, the same goes for Sweboz, Aedui, Averni, Lusotanna, and the rest of them. It is always right next to the capital too.

Hmm, in my campaign AI is more active, though in few cases I also observed the phenomenon you're writing about. Turkeys!, are you playing on VH campaign difficulty?
