    Well, only played 10 rounds or so with Macedonia, but the Koinon Hellenon have already launched a landing party by boat. Makes things a bit more interesting

    I am awaithing those units so that Finall may go.. In any case we need people that would work on certan issues I just don have time for..

    But it is done so far just right

    Btw, you didn't answer on my question before - are there gonna be any buildings/units stats changes since BETA2?

    I tried the beta, and it's a LOT different than vanilla EB... tons of money everywhere, lot more building effects... is there someplace that outlines all the changes you've gone through economically?

    I only waith Tune to upload the Models and I will implement them and test a bit coz when you add even one new unit there should be a lot of tests so you can see the balance... We have lack of testers.. (but youmight even get this what we have right now .... I may PM it to you .. and you can test it

    .. Oh, to add, there are going to be tweaks that allow 20-40% of settlements to be large or huge and the world is more developed and ... you know, the builidngs have more tweaked bonuses for some balance and dynamic issues and for realism.

    For example, due to the forms and system of tweaks, it is imposible now to build everything everywhere and have positive results.. coz some buildings that boost law and army have negative effect on population growth so you need to keep economy in one place and army development in another. That goes for large ports are large polutors .. and with the Army barracks combination they give negative populaiton growth.. sou you will need to watch for that

I did notice that the eperirotes had low populations when I invaded (around 500) and kept draining their towns of people but I'm impressed with Macedon's troop groupings and when it picks fights. If the fix is a simple text file I might continue with testing out this beta (it'll just take me a couple of hours to re-download EB10 and the alexmodbeta2 and then install them but I don't want to go through all that trouble if beta3/final comes out soon).
    First of all, sorry for the trouble I posted the FIX (that is I have added the DMB protocol that allows mercenaries to have textures for elephants which I belived EB team implemented already)

    And in the finall the population in the capitols will be spawned so that the capitols would last longer

    So you mean that everything is ready for the final and the only thing you still need to do is to add new units from RS and test them? If so, i can test what you have now without units, if it's playable and bugsfree

    I just got a CTD everytime in my game as the Romans. Basically what happens is everytime I try to fight the same Macedonian general the game will crash to tell me this

    Now with Beta3 when I start up a new Roman Campaign it loads then CTDs with this message

    Cannon Find EB/Data/models_strat/Rizcu_CB_Roman_ship.cas

    I installed Beta3 first over EBAbeta2full and got that then I installed Beta3 on a normal EB installation(multiple EB folders using -mod for shortcuts) and got that same error.

    EDIT: Nevermind I figured out the problem, I have to make sure the folder is called EB for it to work and now I just have seperate installs of EB by changing the names of the folders around. I'm going to start testing with Romani again however it should be ok to install BETA3 over a BETA2full version and get the loading screens and everything since I would assume all the files that were fixed will overwrite beta2 files anyways.

    Hm, maximus, why did u change faces to all generals and family members to something different, like other generals had before? :hmmm:
    Btw, i like idea of adding a lot of just "generals", not family members! Are there any way to recruit them later?
    And new economy and buildings enchantments look nice!
    So are there gonna be any changes except new units and loading screens in the Final?

    Maybe. That really is up to the players to be crative since I am one and only active ALX EB members around really. So I dont have time to test the gameplay by playing 10+ battles with all factions (not to say the campaign)

    New ideas are welcome

    note: the generals are recruitable for all factions at start that have MIC 3.
    It's just that they are called ''bodyguards'' as any general unit
    ..oh . .the faces are just a result of more named characters added, nothing more .)

    note2: I just got the RS units

    How do you call the final, "Final"? Just to avoid to install the wrong one. I will comment on the final then, if that is ok.

    But I may give it a name ... I must see with the rest of inactive ALXEB members .. ..

    edit: this link is really the finall exept RS units and loading screens and music.. So the balance is there to be tested

    I have installed Beta 3 now over Beta 2 and have played some turns with the Saka. I have made several attempts to capture the Xiyu province to test the chinese units a bit. The chinese ai has butchered my horsemen. I suppose there are no chinese buildings in, are there? (I have never played the Saka so far). The run was stable, no cdt so far.

    I started as Roman as usual. It all seems nice and much more interesting and hardcore than BETA 2, but againg i get bored of that Hiero's army of Syracousai, which starts to attack me each time i enter Rhegium province
