    Hi guys.

    I was trying to add the Knights Templar to the late campaign this last weekend and I followed directions of adding a faction to the game, but for some reason, when I started the game it processes indefinitely on the campaign map with the shield of the HRE up at the top (i.e when you hit end turn, it shows the shields for the current faction moving). I see a Templar general there, but the town I gave them Tortosa(Sp?) is still Jerusalem-owned. I even deleted the maps.rwm file. Any idea what I did wrong? I literally just copied the info from the Early campaign for the Templar generals. It seems the rest of the info was there already. Maybe I need to change more than Desc_Strat and winning conditions?

    Also, I noticed that there doesn't seem to be a way to have 26 factions on the map, like it must be locked at 25. Is there a way to change this?

    Finally, KK, I was wondering if you were planning on adding Wales to the game? Being Welsh in decendance, I would love a chance to play them in this campaign. You and all those who worked on it have done an absolutely brilliant job on this mod. I finally feel very satisfied with Medieval 2! The battles are so much more epic and real, and the new factions are amazing. Thanks for any answers guys!

    It's really not all about ancestors, but yeah, it'd be cool for that reason too. I also want Wales in ther because they are in Kingdoms and it would make the British Isles factionally complete. Can anyone give me a useful response please?

    walles, like navarre and some others would be interestig factions if the number of slots was infinite...however,...

    This is a worthy thought, as Wales was largely independent until the late 13th century if I recall correctly.

    But Juan hit the nail on the head, there just aren't enough slots for smaller factions. Just off the top of my head I'd rather see a Flanders faction ahead of Wales. Give those bloody Frenchmen some trouble

    Wales can only fit in this version of SS because KK is filling the last available faction slot in the next version...so anything you do will be overwritten soon. To put in Wales in the next version you will have to delete another faction to free up a slot and probably a bunch of units already in the game to bring the game under the 500 unit limit

    Unless you want them to have no unique units.

    you could delete some of the uneeded units like peasants and first level spears and boats, that would free up some space

    i only see 1 way to see wales on SS.

    1) deleting aztecs (making a free slot for faction and units)
    2) be only playable in early era !

    but a last question, 4 british factions? wich chance ill had wales to survive or even ireland ?

    It's good to know that there is a limit there. I can understand why they'd put that in the game, but it sure would be nice to represent more factions.

    I also agree that Wales would have a whale of a time trying to keep up with England, let alone Ireland and Scotland.

    Thanks for the responses guys! Now I just gotta figure out why I can't add the Knights Templar to the Late Campaign. I suppose being a noob, I'll have to figure that one out the hard way!

    How did you guys figure out the 500 unit limit thing? That's crazy! So that would mean I couldn't add the Knights of Edessa to the Kingdom of Jerusalem, wouldn't it?

    how figure out, well theres many ways, one by counting (know the default number of vanilla + the new units added) also you i'll know by CTD , and getting error msg in log DATABASE_ERROR...bla bla bla

    well SS 5.1 have 498 if i'm not wrong, so remains 2 slots free !
