Is this movie not looking to be one of the most kick-ass ever?
Will Smith last man on Earth, by day he's the last survivor in New York, by night he has to survive.
Do the math people!

But mark me well; Religion is my name;
An angel once: but now a fury grown,
Too often talked of, but too little known.

Another zombie movie I guess...
A man can only be legend when there are other men to remember him.
Apparently, its good.
Just saw an advance screening at the TV Academy tonight and all I'm gonna say is that my heart was racing the entire film and I feel sorry for the poor people sitting next to me cause I was screaming and gasping throughout. The scenes of the deserted NYC have to be seen to be believed. Will Smith is back in action mode and pulls it off effortlessly. This movie was a great ride with tons of scares, terrific special effects, great pacing. Cameo by Emma Thompson is truly amusing. Recently saw the old Vincent Price version on TV and this version simply blows it out of the water. Kudos to all involved. A terrific thriller.
It's about vampires, man.
No zombies.

Cluny will roast you on a spit in your own juice...
If it's anything like the book, it will be the best film of the year. Easily.
Read the book heathens. You'll be critical of every sci-fi horror novel you'll ever read againAnd they are Vampires in the book. No doubt about that - I guess they've just changed that aspect of it for the "modern" audience. Little annoying for fans of the book, but I guess the "modern viewers" prefer their Vampires to be more sinister than raving monsters screaming at Neville to come out of his house while flashing their genitalia...
On that note... I made a thread on the book/film a month or so agoCan't find it now for the life of me...
Psh, 28 Days Later was always an I Am Legend ripoff. I'm sure the makers even admitted it![]()

i bet you feel real special because you read the book. no one gives a flying **** that you read the book, trust.
guess what, i'll get the jist of the book by watching the movie, and the best part is i wont have to read to do it. instead i get to watch a kicka$s movie.
If God were a man he'd be me.
At first i simply observed. But i found that without investment in others, life serves no purpose.
Someone is mad.
This movie does look good, I will probably see it. I don't care if its a remake so long as its a good movie. Now BAD remakes is what I can't take, and usually if you are someone who goes to see movies regularly a bad movie is easy to spot. I'd think this is NOT one of them.

When's it out?

This movie looks awesome. But then again, So did I robot.
You're just jealous of his cool. I mean. The guy is the cool. The guy is cool when he's doing twosies. He is that cool.
Now... what a load of crap. I read the book because I'm a fan of decent literature. Particularly within the Post-Apocalyptic genre. Not to get 1 ups over people on a forum. I'm only encouraging people to do the same because I think people are missing out if they don't.
Now guess what. I've already read, and thoroughly enjoyed the book. The best part is, it's an incredibly well written, and a brilliant read. And I also get to watch a kicka$s movie.
>_>
