What is the difference when playing with BI file?

Now when I installed 1.9 I have 2 shortcuts and I decided to play my new campaign with the BI Shourtcut for the first time. I only played standard RTR till now. So what is the difference?

Better AI, the AI launches invasions by sea (if you play as Rome, you'll face constant Carthaginian and Illyrian raids in the early game), plus some other features. By far the most fun of all the versions to play with.

The night battle feature from BI is also used.

Also, some units now have the shield wall formation or the schiltrom formation as a special ability, which were used for many units in BI.

I find that I have more CTDs when using BI.exe instead of normal PE 1.9. Anyone else noticed this???

You don`t need BI to have night battles. Playing RTRPE with the RTW exe will be the same in this regard.
