Making babies

Hello to the developers of this great mod. I really like it, especially since my computer can't run M2TW. Anyway, I am having great difficulty having any children by any of my family members, even after they are married and sitting in a town, and even when I have far fewer family members than towns (as I know this was a determiner in vanilla RTW). I do sometimes get adoption offers, but I greatly prefer real children both for the historical accuracy and because I don't like having 30 year old family members having 35 year old "sons." If I reject all the adoptions will I eventually get real children? The idea of having children and seeing what traits they develop is one of my favorite parts of the game and I'm disappointed that it doesn't seem to happen much here. Also, is there any chance the next/last version will clean up all the typos? I would help with that if I knew where to look in the files.

child birth are loosely based on region count. get more regions and you will get more childbirths

No, not really. Region counts influence in the first place the adoption offers. Children-births are steered by the family tree (married or not) and if the characters having then the needed traits and ancillaries to get married and getting children.
And btw., the adopted sons aren't to understand as real sons, they are noble vasalls coming into the ruling households, just read what they have as trait in this regard, that are created by me to reflect this.

HAHA!! Funny thread name. Unfortunatley when I play england I very rarely have babies I have to adopt, but I only get adoptions by fighting and winning massive battles against them frenchies and skoties.:laughing:

Interesting. I am usually focused on killing everyone including babies rather than making them.

i dont have so many problems with this? but then, i dont actually care that much, as long i've got about 3-4 generals so my family dont die, im happy!
