Default fat celts with winged helmets?

i am no good at modeling i just got gmax but can’t get the files into it , so i was wondering if any of you have plans to make some groovy fat celts with winged helmets etc. below are a couple of units i would love to see in future mods although they probably need the higher textures of m2tw...

What, winged helmets like the Family Member's wear for the Aedui and Arverni?

well i presume so, but we don’t actually know that much about what celts wore as only some metallic objects are preserved [mainly]. many of the shields i use were actually ceremonial ~ i presume this is the same in eb. this gives us a little leeway in what we do, so as long as gaulic tribes get them i think that would be ok. the other image is of course a mad pict .

i just want three generals just like the image - would be v cool! oh and some celtic musicians with very long horns would be nice, like from the halstalt style cultures.

No I literally mean, we already have them in the game (though they don't look exactly like that). As they look a bit earlier to me. The helmet design from the two on the right seem to be in the wrong century from what I gather.

they are already in the game ~ wow. i have only looked at the skins and didnt notice them, i'll have a better look, thanks.

i still want ones that look exactly like the image though - so cool. i thought they may actually be later from the conquest, as i found the images on a site about that, which is why i wanted them.

i have done a skin of the picts for mercs just by cloning the image across to the skin - still working on that though

I think the EB's FM models are awesome. There's a great promotional picture from a while back of 3 of them in a "group photo" I thought the guys in the top picture were from a slightly earlier period also (I vaguely remember seeing the book that's from) but I may be wrong.

I'm fairly certain though that the second image isn't exactly scrupulously researched though, IIRC it's a 19th Century Lowland Scot's artist impression of a Pict done for an edition of Agricola, or something like that. Interpreted the tattoo thing a little too literally I think...

i think you are right about the pict , i got it from a tatoo site, but a friend of mine [an archeologist] says they didn’t have coloured ink or at least from what we know they only used blue. the imagery is a little suspect too as it would have been magic symbols etc rather than actual images.

if i ever learn how to use gmax i’ll make the top image myself, i just think they look cool and with the celts there is much we can interpret as we wish.
