Here I am minding my own business having a lovely game of XGM as Rome. And I'm playing on H/H, which coupled with the improved Carthaginian AI made the early game (first 5 years or so) one of the most intense RTW experiences I've ever had, with something like 7 or so stacks attacking me. I love the changes DBH did for the AI in the last few versions.
But anyway, that's not why i made this thread. Fast forward my campaign to 230 BC, where I'm still pretty small and waging war on Carthage. And one of my spies in Carthage spots this guy:
And while you may think to yourself "So what? Hannibal is a pretty common name for generals in RTW..." If you have a look at the year, and the age of Mr. Hannibal, you'll find he would have been born in 247 BC, THE SAME YEAR AS HANNIBAL BARCA! CONSPIRACY!
So anyway, is this a coincidence or is this caused by a new script of some description? Because if it is a script it's very cool IMO.
