i've return to rtw today and decided try RTRPE and i'm enjoying alot, also i'm using bi.exe , so my question is normal carthage keep sending 2-3 units per turn to attack me !?

they lose always but they dont give up , any suggestion for further action ? try diplomacy, or keep killing them, sack their capital and return to rome ... :hmmm:

Carthage has strong sea trade that gives opportunity to buld these stacks..

So, build a powerful fleet, and block all ports of carthage, this will cut the founds so as incoming armies..

They'll continue for as long as the Carthaginians hold Sicily. Get a spy to Sicily so you can spot incoming fleets. Hold them off until the invasion forces consist mainly of Liby-Phoenician spears, then prepare an invasion force of your own for a Sicilian expedition. Leave a minimal force (mainly auxiliaries) in the north to fend off further invasions, then ship the bulk of your army to Sicily to take the island from the Carthaginians. Once the whole of Sicily has been taken, the Carthaginian invasions of Italy will stop.

Afterwards, take all the western Mediterranean islands you can, before sending a diplomat to Africa to ask for peace. The Carthaginians will usually accept, and once they've done so, they'll usually keep the peace for the rest of the game, meaning security and prosperous trade on the western side of Italy while you concentrate on the east.

i've make alliance with gauls but its very probably they i'll betray me soon, i just did to buy some more time, also i've make peace with the greeks and make alliance with macedonians...

also carthage have left their capital with a very minimal garrison numbers...

problem is greeks at south, gauls at north, carthage from the sea... =/

i need keep the balance but at same time kick their asses and win the sea supremacy !!

Pannonian's right--Carthage will attack Latium, but only if you don't give them other targets. They'll generally attack the most recent island you've taken from them, and will do so repeatedly in force.

actually i'm fighting my own punic war , i've destroyed half of their fleet, make blockades, sacked all carthage cities in sicily and also sacked one wich i don't remember the name (in sardinia)

but for the first time i play rtw with mod, this is giving alot of fight !! wich is cool
