M2TW Campaign Editor
This is my latest idea for M2TW.
Objective: Make a easy campaign editor to make your own campaign maps. Make your own campaign mod with the units you want. Create the land, and have the possibility to make your troops and fantasy world. This program won't be easy to create so I suggest the experienced modders to pay attention.
Why to do it: If this program gets created it would become the most important M2TW program apart from the game itself! Would make the work of many mod teams damned easy. And would let people with no experience developing mods and campaign maps create their own (this is the principal reason of creating it).
Important: This program must be very, very, very, very, very easy to use. Have you seen a AoE editor, ok, just like that.
What would this program do?: Make the campaign map (most important of all), the units (maybe not creating the skins but selecting the shield, weapon, helmet, flag...) and the cities (this is not as important but would be...) and the battle maps.
Now... just one thing, WE NEED A TEAM TO CREATE THIS PROGRAM. I'm not going to start a team, beacause I don't now a thing about programming, but... if you are an expert mod leader, programmer, etc... Just start recruiting in this thread!
