    Default 4 turns per year?

I'm obsessed with having that long-game feeling in the campaign.. so i always play on 4 turns/year.. but im curries if it will effect(as in this situation on SS) the AI performance in any way, and maybe in some other way as well?
I also wonder where i might change the gunpowder invention?

    thanks

Well, first, NO, it won't affect the AI's performance since the AI looks at turns and not the date.

Secondly, you can change the gunpowder date in the scripts text file

On the other hand, you would get citadels and huge cities before 1200

Well i've seen to that so the buildings cost alot more, and takes alot more turns to build.. so infact almost nobody has citadels or huge cities in the 1200..

Guys, how did you do it in SS.

I went into the SS folder then maps, then imperial campaigns folder, edited the strat desc file, and changed the timescale to 0.50 from 2.00, but in the early era campaign, it is still going 1.5 years per turn!

Am i editing in the wrong area?

Thanks in advance, i would be filled with joy if you can answer this as soon as possible!

    cheers!

    \stainless_steel\data\world\maps\campaign\custom\late_era_campaign\descr_strat.txt
Change the "timescale" value in this file for the late era campaign

    \stainless_steel\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign\desrc_strat.txt
And in this for the early era campaign.
