How do i make him a Family member?
Let alone get him married and have little ceasars to continue the rule of the Roman Empire under his familys name.
Has anyone done this yet?
And some assistence on how to get this done would be greatly appreciated![]()

You can't, all you can do is hope he gets adopted.

Kill off all the other generals when he matures? XD
My mission is to destroy all things Roman.
<3 Gaul
so.. make him and just let him sit there and get adopted?
i dont get it?
So conquering the Po valley, Greece and soon Carthage would do nothing for this guy?
hes a unit. you recruit him in Roma, so hes already mature hah

I won't say nothing because I don't know how adoption works, perhaps lots of victories makes it more likely that he'll be adopted, but who knows.
@Tyrell - He's a recruited general not a member of the family, which is the problem, you can't have him take over the empire unless he gets adopted inot the family.
Personally, I just don't play with the unit, since you can't accomplish with the unit what it was put into the game for.

Darn..
Well i shall see if he gets adopted. then i gotta get him married.. :S
i guess tyrells plan seems logical haha

The easiest way to get him adopted is to send him into battles where you would normally get heroic victories, and make sure he is the leader of that army. If you really want to be cheap you could send him into battle alone and cheat to win that battle, provided you had family members with open slots to adopt (most children you can have is 4) and you'd get a man of the hour pretty fast.
haha. whats the cheat?

Although you can get the guy adopted, that wasn't really why I put him in there. It is a 'role play' figure for the most part. RTW puts so many limitations on what you can do that things that SHOULD be just can't be made to happen. I debated whether to do this or not, but then decided to include it because one can just 'imagine' if one likes, even if RTW won't let you do what you'd like to.
I had a way to do this a lot better, but my team mates never wanted the Senate in the game. With the Senate in the game, what I had planned at one time was to have the player manually change some files with a batch file or something when the so-called Marian Reforms occurred. At that point, ALL of the Senate related files were re-written to change the Senate into 'the Emperor'. Missions and orders would be from the Emperor then, and not the Senate.

Im not a fan of missions haha.
I just want to have a royal bloodline starting with this man.
But im going to make a new young Imperator Ceasar Agustus make him a family members then try to keep my bloodline as llong as possible.

What the heck?
Clearly I haven't played RS long enough yet!Can you recruit Augustus at one point? That's really cool
@dvk: You would still have control over Rome, when the Senate gets included, right?

It's possible to use scripts for senate missions, and if I ever get ahead of the game with traits (not likely just yet though) I may tinker with adding a missions script.

ok auto win in the battle or campaign map?
Yeah that Ceasar Agustus thing is really cool.
i still do like the vanilla type of Civil war though its way more costly.

wnat to make him emperer? put all family members on a brirmeme baot and send thim in waters where thay will get kiled. then make him ruler.
Hes not a family member. that would just lose the campaign for me.

@lemons - read my previous response to Tyrell, the unit is a recruited general, and hence, unless he gets adopted, not part of your family tree. Therefore killing off all your family won't make him the ruler.
