    Default Authourity

How would one be able to increase his authority rating to the same length as McDonalds has over fat people?

lol, thats like a rateing of 30!! I find the best way to raise authority is to win a series of successful battles (extra good if those battles are related to crusades) other than that theres not really much you can do.

i also find that if you work really hard towards eitther chivalry or dread then he will gain some authority traits based on that, but yeah, winning lots of battles and crusading is best.

Alright, though I have noticed that a king who sits in one place for a very long time has a rather high authority.

i have seen that once or twice as well, if the father was important it can help, also, there are a few traits that are not related to actions such as genious that significantly improve authority. it is also a possibility that the authority got to -1, which because of silly CA, becomes a 10.

yeh generally you get dread/chivalry traits in 5 stages and the last 2 stages giving +1 then +2 authority. along with +4, +5 dread/chivalry. and if u go into the SS data folder then there is a file with a list of all the SS traits so just type CTRL + F and search authority and it should show take you to the traits that will give authority, hope that helps

Bear in mind what authority actually does before you bother to chase after it.
