Finding Norse War Clerics

Pretty simple, straight-forward question here. I'm poking around in a Norwegian campaign, and haven't been able to find which building allows the recruitment of Norse War Clerics. Since they're listed in Norway's custom battle list, they're surely somewhere, but I have not been able to track them down. Would anybody care to help?

I haven't made it far enough into the campaign to get to abbeys and cathedrals yet. However, they are not listed as recruitable units in the Building Browser "cards" for the advanced churched, the way they are for Denmark (last I checked, at least).

hmmm well I would assume they are recruitable like the denmark counterparts through the church buildings...if they don't, it may be due to the "Kalmar Union" that they appear in custom battle selections.

Well, if Norway does not in fact have War Clerics in the campaign, does anybody know how I would go about adding them in? It seems awfully silly for Denmark to have Norse War Clerics, but for Norway to lack them...

See, that is of no help to me. I know nothing about modding and such.

The Norwegians don't lack a model for the War Clerics--they're available in custom battles, and (having checked myself), they have their own skin as opposed to the Danes. They just are not, as far as I can tell, recruitable...

Yes, but bear in mind that one of the most common requests made of any M2TW mod is to make it more "realistic" and "historical". A few of these requests are even valid. The point is, just because it's in the unit description doesn't mean much--CA took many liberties when addressing the state of history in the game's time period. Yes, the description might be accurate, but we have no way of knowing that, and given the game's track record, there's every reason to suspect it's just made up. If legitimate evidence can be found to support it, of course, then I will genuinely be as happy as a clam.

No, it isn't. Quote from the unit description: "-these clerics are outlawed in Sweden but still deliver holy chastisement to the foes of Denmark" That doesn't mean that they couldn't be outlawed in Norway also. But it does not proof that they were.

Norse can also mean Skandivian people in general, like Swedes. Not just Norwegians.

In my opinion Norway should have those clerics too.

Since Dismounted War Clerics aren't listed in the Norwegian Custom Battle selection, is there any way to check to see if they already have their own skins? Since there are already Norwegian War Clerics in Custom Battles, that isn't a problem, but the dismounted ones are only listed for Denmark.

You could also add them to Norway (trough the model.db, EDU and EDB), but they would use the danish skin. (unless you reskin them that is).
