We have started work using the RTW engine to recreate the Napoleonic era,a lot of work has to be done but in the end we hope to deliver again a rock solid product just like NTW for MTW:VI.

If you want a person to make an intro video, just ask me. I have already made the Japan mod's video, working on the Fourth Age, Chivalry TW, and would be glad to help you.

How long do you expect this to take? I loved the first one by the way. Napoleonic would be most impressive after seeing the screenshots. Most luck.

love the screenshots amazing work and finally we get to play napolenic battles as they should be : . MAybe with NTW 2, infantry squares could be properly implemented using the special formations button. I think that was the only let down of the first conversion the fact that u couldn't form proper defensive squares with individual units. What kind of unit scale are u going for this time? i was thinking that the RTW engine lends itself well to battalion or regimental sized units.

I doubt regemental sized because regements can get in the thousands, so battalions or companies would be best.

    Mmmmm... Waterloo... Full 3D.... *Drools*

I can't wait for this, it will be absolutely stunning when it comes out. Alas, no Battle of the Nile of Trafalgar for us though, None the less, I can't wait for this. I've recently been playing NTW in MTW to serve my lust for gunpowder and cannons, and this is good news.

Might I suggest for a Europe size campaign that the units be scaled at 1:10 with the basic maneuver unit being regiment (large ones only), demi-brigade and brigade size and for the strat map, the army being corps size in scale?

Once the figures are done it would simply be a matter of doing units at the appropriate scale and later 'provincial' campaigns could cover a specific campaign in more detail, like the Waterloo campaign or Austerlitz campaign with each area on the map being a specific landmark or location - like imagine a map of the Waterloo battlefield and environs and instead of cities like Patavium or Arretium you have places like La Belle Alliance and Chateau Hougoumont.

    just thinking out loud Lordz
