Please use Self-extractors or Installers for Skin Mods if possible!

Hey guys,

I'm a n00b with this stuff but even for those who aren't it makes all our lives easier when complex file installations like these ones come with a self-extractor or installer. ATG has one for his Spartan hoplites. I realize it may not be easy to make one but for those of you who can I, for one, would greatly appreciate a self-installer. I want to try so many of these skin mods but the installation is too complex. It's not that I can't do it but I've come across many replies of people who can't get the skins working also. Again for those who can; please do so. I'm sure the support for you will be there!!

The only real problem with this is that even if people will be ok with applying the new skins on vanilla RTW and not on other mods, these packs won`t be compatible with one another. The text files they modify are the same so for each player to combine two or more packs in the same install can born up to endless combinations regarding their compatibility.

In other words, since those people who are making the skins/models aren't going to do infinitely more work, just to make your life easier. So you are going to have to learn to edit the appropriate files.

ahhhhhh the wonders of modding................. I learned from reading the walkthroughs and I barely post questions about how to do it. All of the info are in the Scriptorium on TW.ORG.
