    guys this something that averroes found:

    The Darth Ages

    they have combined TLR with DarthMod and Kigdoms...

    haven´t checked it out yet, but sound promesing and a colaboration seems like an excellent idea for now.

    So, just to say Hi! to these guys and they are more than wellcome to use TLR to post.

    I just come here to say hello..

    I would like to say that you have done a really good job with that mod.. i love it and is one of the reasons i'm still play that game..

    Now i'm too busy trying to make the AI worth its name, but then i will have enough time to add new units/factions and other stuff to this mod..

    AI is one of the strong points you guys at Darth Mod have accomplished, Naimad. It's probably a bit more complicated with this larger map; but I have confidence in the work you and Xeryx are doing. With the wonderful map Tornnight created and the work done on the factions already included, it will make a great combination. I'm really pleased to see you working on it. And Acegogo is a wonderful graphic artist. Can't go wrong!

    The factions Tornnight was originally thinking of adding were the Cumans, Georgia and the Lithuanians. I'm sure there are several great versions of each already mostly done, like the work the guys at B.A.L.T. have done on Lithuania and Kepper here in this forum has been working on the Kingdom of Georgia, and Boztorgai_Khan has done some incredible work on the Cumans for The Broken Crescent and might be interested as well.

    this is great news,can i play this without kingdoms?

    i love tlr, but hate the ai

    ive currently been playing ss4.1(for ai) with tweaked desc_strat files to make 0.5 year turns,lowered population and increased building times to simulate TLR epic campaign style..

    but with lack of all the cool units and everything else tlr has to offer its not the same

    is there anywhere i can dl and play a stable version??

    Well, TLR is stable for me.

    I believe that Darth Ages is for Kingdoms only, though.

    tlr is good for me too, i just prefer darths battle animations and ai

    its alot harder for me,the ai are smart fierce and more enjoyable, and i get confused installing all of condos latest patchs correctly:hmmm:

    i dont get the epic battle feeling though playing with SS, maybe its just the different units in TLR that made things interesting

    Darth Ages only works with Kingdoms.. maybe someone could make a Medieval 2 version.. i have not the time and Kingdoms has some nice features so it will never be the same..

    DOn´t worry about it, I think that if we release a last no bugs TLR2.0b that would be enough and we can concentrate on the kingdoms version you have done.

    During the weekend I´ll get the gfx´s for the resources averoes was talking about, then on to the map

    TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
    Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

    IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
    Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

    Wow, this is the best news possible! I just bought Kingdoms, and I regretted the thought that its new features would never be implemented into my beloved TLR. Thank you for your efforts! I find that I cannot bring myself to play a mod that includes the Americas anymore since I am now addicted to the TLR map. Now I'll get an updated version of TLR to go with my Kingdoms game... Fantastic! Thank you for the early Christmas present!

    I will need some help to finish my FS file.. i will add some factionvsfaction rules (like continuous deteriorating relations between scotland/england, Spain/France, etc..) to make things more "historical", but there are some factions that i know almost nothing about.. so any help would be apreciate..

    The rules could "move" the relations to a given point over a given time like

    ;------------------------------------------
    Trigger XXX
    WhenToTest updateattitude

    Condition FactionType Scottland
    and TargetFactionType England

    FactionStanding target_faction normalise -0.75 50

    So the relations between England-scotland will move towards -0.75 no matter what

    Glad to help!

    Let's see now...

    Negative list that should always normalize toward a strong negative each to the other:

    Pope - all Islamic factions (the strongest negative between them)
    Scotland - England
    England - France
    Moors - Portugal (at war to start?)
    Moors - Spain (at war too)
    Denmark - HRE
    Byzantium - Rum Sultanate (should probably begin at war)
    Byzantium - Venice
    Byzantium - Sicily (should probably begin at war)

    Moderately negative but should still normalize to a negative:

    Poland - HRE
    Poland - Kiev
    Poland - Novgorod
    Denmark - Novgorod
    HRE - Pope
    Hungary - Byzantium

    The following should be just slightly negative but should normalize to negative:

    Venice - Milan
    Venice - HRE
    Milan - HRE
    France - HRE
    Hungary - Byzantium
    Hungary - Venice
    Hungary - HRE

    Slightly negative to start, no normalizing (should be allowed to go positive or negative)

    All Islamic factions - All Islamic factions (they just didn't get along, and some eventually broke out into open war until the crusades united some)

    Neutral to start but should be allowed to go either positive or negative:

    Sicily - Pope
    Kiev - Novgorod
    Hungary - Poland
    Venice and Milan - the Islamic factions (I know this sounds odd, but Venice and the other sea-trading city-states in Italy maintained trade relations with the Islamic world all through the Crusades, despite Papal prohibitions against trade)

    Start negative and normalize to positive, if possible:

    Scotland - France
    Portugal - Spain
    Byzantium - Kiev


    That's pretty much the way I see the situation in 1080.

    Is there a way to make relations fluctuate from negative to positive and back in a cycle of some kind?

    If so, then Kiev - Novgorod would be a good candidate for not making up their minds. Good relations at times, bad relations at times, neutral relations and back and forth between them. The same with Sicily - Popes, Portugal-Spain, Poland-Hungary and the 4 Turkish factions with each other.

    Religion is under control.. i have many religious rules to make catholics hate islam and viceversa..

    i'm looking into Faction vs Faction relations..

    I dont like starting wars, because that create a disadvantage to those factions, instead of i set relations to -0.6..-0.8 this means they will go war when they feel confortable to do so (and it works, first wars in my games use to be moors vs Castilla/Portugal or Basilea Ton Romanion vs sultanate of Rum or Sicily vs Basilea/Venice and sometimes France vs England, Hre vs Denmark/Poland/Milan)

    but are you sure milan - venice should go to negative? i know they fight each other more than once, but having the menace of HRE and Sicily i set them to be less agressive.

    I let the papacy away of those rules.. because it could cause too many side effects, but overall i set almost the same rules you have posted here..

    i will upload a new update soon, when i finish the EDU rework and maybe the accents issues.

    Venice and Milan are minor. You may be right that they should worry more about the HRE. Not sure about Sicily, however. Historically, Sicily was more of a threat to the Byzantines. Although, I suppose they could be seen as at odds with Venice as well, since both wanted the same territories along the east coast of the Adriatic Sea.

    Definitely good to have Venice and Milan concerned with the HRE. That's good, considering the historical situation. Although there were times when the northern Italian states allied with the HRE instead of the Pope. So at various times, the cities would be Guelph communes supporting the Pope and other cities would be Ghibellines supporting the HRE. It really was a fractured political situation.

    I look forward to a new update! So far I like the way the AI is reacting. in 0.60!

    No Lithuania. Its "full" convention of TLR for kingdoms with Darth formation and "real combat 1.3" dont know if modified (i think yes).

    Its still 0.6 many needs to be done. Lithuania will "unlikelly" be added, as Right now, Cumans and Goergia are prior (to fill empty space).
    Lithuania is pritty much Poland in MTW :/

    Just wandering around, and wanted to stop in and say hello. Thank you guys for helping Naimad. After playing so many (short) campaigns developing the XAI with Naimad. I have a really good appreciation, for the the high quality of this mod!! Give him as much help as you can, so he can "get er' done" and enjoy playing a full campaign!!
