    Default Rome and Barbarian II

So here's my plan. I loved all the new features and gaming that came out with Medieval Total war II, and have grown used to them so much taht I can't really go back playing Rome or Barbian, even though those are my favorite time frames.

I think they shoudl come out with a Rome and Barbarian II, or if nothing else send out a patch or something to enhance graphics. The religion wars would be so much cooler as not everyone on one side of the world was christian and vice versa, then we could have an option where you choose your religion. That would be the greatest. Temples and priests would actually mean something; It's not like in MTW2 where if you play England or France priests just soak up money.

Post here why or why not you think this should happen.

I like that one of the options is "Make a Whole Nother Game"

That's a good word. Respect it.

Another Rome would be great. But not for two or three years after Empires comes out.

Though my favourite history is ancient one and phalanxes and phalangites especially I am glad I can be in another great history - Medieval (my nick says for it as well) and I am really looking forward toward Empires. On the other hand the game is not about ages at first, but gameplay. I hope those goal set for Empires will be somehow (cant imagine yet) fullfiled for such percentage as Rome did (cant say the same for M2TW - could learn from RTW to avoid same problems in M2TW which occured).

A patch with the RTW units transferred to MTW2 format--yum.

EB2 will probably take more than a year from now, so IŽd wait with becoming eagerly excited about it.

IF CA would start anything like RTW2 it would propably take more like 4 yrs before it will be out so EB2 is propably your best guess anyway ( I don't know of any other RTW MOD for MTWII )

I think that it'll be hard for a lot of the players that have been here since Rome to play a Rome 2, just because the mods have added so much more than CA could hope to release...they'd have to include a lot of new features to get the sales from us. If they had many more factions, naval battles, etc etc...

Been there done that. Sorry, the only reason I don't feel that way about M2 is because I never played M1, I went from Shogun to dabbling in Rome.

EB2 is still being developed though isn't it?

Odd, yet understandable, that Rome hasn't been ported to the MTW2 style.
