OMG, I loved the Pogues. I had part of that song on my answering machine in college. Haven't thought about them in years.

    Here's one of my favorite:

All my friends thought I made the song up until I proved them wrong. this video doesn't so it justice but still funny in a strange way. Every year in NY 'Dominic the Donkey' was like a tradition you heard on the radio.

Should have known by the get ups. Reminds me of the original days of ELO. They were freaks.

Even Gregorian and Byzantine Chants and Choral music?

And what about the stuff they made in the 40s and 50s?

When you've heard it piped through shopping centre PA systems a thousand times, they lose their charm.

I know you aren't religious, Medicus, but for its own musical sake, I would by no means call Gregorian/Byzantine/Choral music bad.

Luckily I've always managed to avoid listening to the vast majority of Christmas music, but I still can't stand it.

Bar Slade. I love that song, it used to mean Christmas to me - they don't play it in Holland, but we nearly always came over to England for Christmas, so...

The Eagles have quite a nice Christmas-themed song (bit bluesy), but I forget the name..
    Life, go easy on me

Then I weighed him I said, “Holy ****!” because he weighs 900,000,000,000,000,000 tons. That amazing weight made me say the “S” word.
