Faction List?

I like the faction list alot. It sounds like there be alot more choices no matter who is included, I mean 30 factions is a lot. As long as they are given their own identity and advantages.

Anyway, if you guys wanted a serious discussion about who to include and who to omit, you would have posted a list of potential factions, made a poll about them and allowed people to slaughter each other in discussions of Casse vs Pergamon and similar.

Now it would be great if at least one (or ideally two) faction from Mikra Asia were added. Bithynians and Galatians - Then it would be very interesting to play for faction from that region it could be quite a chalange.

with pergamon Asia Minor is already full to be honest, with another faction the area would most probably become overcrowded

How about expanding the map a in order to include an indian faction (like the murayan empire- I can't remember the faction's name right now but it's something like that). That would add more depth.

Then we would have to remove provinces and even then it wouldn't do India justice as it was the most populated area in the world at this time by high probability. Thus having massively large provinces in India would be strange while little Greece would have just as many.

at least not as an entire "empire" but maybe a fraction of it...and the current pakistan/afghanistan also constituted the same cultural-area those days..
