The English/Welsh battle speeches.

Let me start this thread with a hearty 'LOL'.

I've always loved the English speeches with thier humorous angles. They're not too cheesy, and enjoyable, with excellent voice acting.

I think more have been added though, since Kingdoms! And I'll not complain! These speeches are even better!

Nothing like an Angry English accent ranting about ass nibbling cod piece thieves, or one of my favorites;

"Do it for your mum, do it for a laugh, do it for your fellow ass pirating Englishmen... (ect, lol) But damn well do it!"

Or how he's seen donkey's *******s with more guts than his enemies.. I've borrowed insults from this game for everyday use, and I hope for more of the same in future games.

Because I have stainless steel mod unfortunately I seem to have lost lenghty pre battle speehes and now just get one liners....

Shame. I'd uninstall it just for the speeches. Course, in Kingdoms, I've noticed that Ireland and Scotland only have one liners for thier speeches.. It might extend to a few other factions in other campaigns?

Yeah even the Moorish have lost their long speeches even though they originally had them on vanilla, can't explain that one, I even installed the audio fix because before most factions spoke English or Scottish.

Its pretty funny watching the Sultan speaking with the Scottish accent.

Is it just me, or does the one English general sound exactly like Lrr, ruler of Omicron Persei 8 in "Futurama"?

Holy crap, I totally said that to my girlfriend the other day. I was so happy when I said it and she looked at me with her cold, dead eyes and said, "...what?"

Then we locked ourselves in combat and I slew the beast.

But THE BEST speech ever was in Rome where low experience gneral would just say something about killing elepants hehe dont remember exactly how it went...

There was an older one that even that when I first joined TWC.. you should record soem of the English speeches, please? Hahaha, that thread kicked all ass though. I saved so many screenshots.

Don't y'all give your own speeches to your men? If you rely on canned speeches from CA you get an automatic -6 to morale. If you were a Spanish Conquistador would you be motivated by a general who sounds like The Count from Sesame Street?
