    Default Enhanced Desert Tribes (Hedjaz) for DLV 5.1 Kingdoms

    For Deus Lo Vult 5.1 Kingdoms

    Another faction with a challenging start position, the Desert Tribes (Hedjaz) are split with one portion lying on a entirely different continent. I have made the faction playable and gave them some enhancements to make the player more comfortable.

    Not a complete faction, no family members to worry about. Just large masses of sweaty men armed with razor-sharp Damascus swords spreading the word of the prophet. The recruitment system does not appear to be dependent on building structures. Use this to your advantage.

    1. Made Desert Tribes (Hedjaz) playable. Switched with Papal_states which are now locked.

    2. Increased starting denarri to 20k.

    3. Increased Kings purse to 10k.

    4. Medina
    a. increased population
    b. added stone wall

    5. Al-Mansurya
    a. increased population
    b. added stone wall

    6. Buraidah
    a. increased population
    b. now a castle

    INSTALLATION:

    1. Make up backup of descr_strat.txt
    2. Copy the descr_strat.txt from the hedjaz_descr_strat.zip to the imperial campaign folder (simple file replacement). If asked to overwrite click "yes".

    Nice one

    Alwasys liked their heavy bedouin guard units ( a bit overpowered in my oppinion) so might actually give them a try. I guess that will be the most diffcult faction to play as!

    They certainly have some nice units available, and Im not sure what their recruitment is linked to yet. They are all available from the start.

    Im thinking about a version 2 of this one, adding some family members.

    Great work on this Gaius, an extra faction to play is always a good thing (as long as they're not Italian Bankers ).

    Hmm dont know much about the nation to be honest but with interent everything is possible haha
    Also it would be a good idea to dust off Europa Universalis 2 - hedjaz was done quite well in there, might give an idea about names and banners for sure...
