hi guys. which of the five starting factions should i choose from, i am looking for a campaign in which i can get an excellent economy fast(in RTW i always find myself short on cash)
If you are talking about the britannia campaign i would recommend Ireland as after they push out the English they are relatively secure from any threats
England is one of the best:Early conquer scots and you will have lot of provinces with ports (economy boost) and take all rebel setelments in France faster you can because this provinces are rich and good for sacking. My first moves Are always agains this rich provinces (even if I play as HRE or Denmark) and then I crush Scots.
Yes England is the way to go for truly great riches, first turn send your diplomat to France and arrange a marriage between their princess and your heir Robert then rush the HRE capital with your princess and get her married to their heir, this ensure everlasting peace. With that peace you can now conquer Scotland and if playing SS 5.1 Ireland. But remember to spend alot of your income on stuff like map information to avoid corruption.
GL and have fun![]()
If you going to merry the princess negotiate city in return also work for France alliance for city. If you dont wan't them just sell them and you are rich from beggining you can conquer them later when they are developt.
Start with Spain and blitz all of the Iberian Peninsula. Once you have it under control the Moors will be subdued enough to make any attacks from Africa pretty useless, and its fantastically easy to defend from the north too, given the mountains and all.
Take all the settlements there, then turn Pamplona and Zaragoza into castles, with everything else a town. You'll have a booming economy in no time, provided you focus on markets, roads, and ports in all your settlements early on.
I love you all!
Milan or Venice. Your best units come from cities, nuff said.
