Enhanced Portugal for DLV 5.1 Kingdoms

For DLV 5.1 Kingdoms

Portugal has a very challenging position, caught between two struggling powers (Spain, Moors) with a limited geographical base. I made enhancements to Portugals starting position to give the player a chance to compete with the two super-powers to be.

1. Lisbon
a. increased population
b. added stone wall

2. Oporto
a. increased population
b. now a castle
c. added war harbour

3. increased size of standing armies by adding units of spear militia, jinetes and peasant crossbowman.

4. Increased initial denarri to 20k

5. Increased size of Kings purse to 10k

INSTALLATION:

1. Make up backup of descr_strat.txt
2. Copy the descr_strat.txt from the EnhancedPortugal.zip to the imperial campaign folder (simple file replacement). If asked to overwrite click "yes".
