I thinking about buying kingdoms but im not sure so i'm asking here. Is it worth it to buy kingdoms? And if so how will kingdoms affect my orginal MT2 game. ( will i get any of the new abilities or new improvments to the game?)

I think kingdoms was worth the £15 price tag i payed i and enjoyed the crusader campaign alot, As for the effects on me II grand camapaign i don't think there are any unless you get the retro fit mod.
Its a good game, and although I was reluctant to spend 30 bucks on it, I think I'll get my money's worth out of the Brittania campaign alone. If you want some new scenarios and a break from the grand campaign Kingdoms is a good choice, but it doesn't add anything to the MTW2 you already know and love....
It is totally worth it. I think you can get it on play.com for 15 pounds, incl. delivery.
It is totally worth the money. Although there are still a few glitches and bugs here and there, none of them really inhibit gameplay to a large extent, and those bugs are easily fixed by downloading a few mods.
Personally, I have played the Teutonic campaign by far the most out of any of the others. Imho, its the best because it has the most factions and it has close quarters fighting.
It's fantastic, tons of replay value. I look at it this way, in vanilla M2:TW, there was plenty of replay, but there wasn't a lot of drive for me to play, say, Portugal after playing Spain, Milan after playing Venice, etc. These factions played similar to eachother, and their map positions meant the campaign would likely flow the same way.
This does not happen in Kingdoms
The only two factions I can think of that are pretty similar are Jerusalem and Antioch, but they play entirely different campaigns (Jerusalem goes south, Antioch goes north).
Definitely worth it. I always found I'd get bored part way through a grand campaign and want to play a different faction, for example I'd be playing as England and decide I wanted to play as Novgorod, so my English campaign would never get finished.
But with Kingdoms and the shorter, more varied, campaigns it is easier to find the motivation to finish one.
