    Default Imperator to Triumphus ?

    Hello, EB Comrades

This is my Romani Campaign and one of my family members got this trait, "Imperator."

And it says that this character should conquer enemy territory to get the title of "Triumphus" and return to Roma for the celebration.

Does anyone know what this means (what does the trait, "Triumphus" does and what is the celebration)?

(BTW, it is REALLY HARD to raise a good character in EB. PLEASE, make it easier in future patches EB team)

You have to win many battles against certain factions and your character will get his name changed (example: Germanicvs). Fight long enough (and if you character has "Imperator") and you will be given a Triumph by the sentate. Where a victorious general parades through the city. If you follow the steps correctly, you will get an Influence bonus on that character.

And for having good characters: education is important.

but does the guy in question has to return to rome? as it says in the trait? its confusing. it says he receives a triumphus when returning to rome and does he have to stay there for a turn or so? is that needed or is it given to him anyway.

and especially for command you have to make it easier. i costed me hell to get 3 stars with my general who had to trigger the first reforms. imagine, 2 stars he got from being faction leader, plus he had -2 from another trait. okay, characters have many command bonusses (+1 when doing this, +2 doing that, etc...) but actual stars? from the 60 family members i have only 2 have more than 1. i mean, i have generals fighting battle after battle (and winning) but they receive no stars... while my friggin opponent has up to 8 or more, but he keeps losing .

okay i know this has been an issue before, and you said thats because the AI receives bonusses. okay, the player has an advantage over the AI, but i think your just being to harsh on us. i want that "germanicus" guy to have the number of stars he deserves!

First he has to get a trait that says he has been "awarded a triumph by the Senate", and then he has to go to Rome to actually participate in his triumph.

Command stars are not very important, except in auto-calc. It gives a morale bonus to troops nearby the general but otherwise it does nothing. They don't help you trigger reforms either, so you can safely ignore them. The morale traits are more important.

My guy just completed this set of traits. Basically you get the imperator trait, then after many more battles and conquests (i wiped out arveni and also fought in spain), you get "prospective triumphate. Then after a bit more, rome calls you back. You stay there 2 turns total. 1 to start the celebration, and 1 to end it. You receive +3 influence. -Leon

Doesn't seem worth the hassle, really, all that just to get +3 influence, most senior Romans get 10 influence just through the senate and governing anyways, hoped that they would get morale and command bonuses, really

Well its not really about the +3 influence. Its more for minor roleplaying element and just to say look my guys is a triumphus -Leon

it was much easier for a real roman to get a triumph. my general has conquered almost all of northwest africa and taken carthage, defeating many enemy armies, and still no triumph. Historically, and based on the "this year in history" event, romans were getting triumphs all the time. Maybe this award should be easier to achieve.
