Any good songs that you have just come across that really impressed you? They dont have to be new to anyone but you.
I just came across this song by Jewel
You can leave the lights on (live)
Has a sort of 30s-40s jazz feel to it.

KT Tunstall "Black Horse & The Cherry Tree" on Jools
I believe this was her first performance live on TV, and she only got on because some artist canceled his the last minute... I think she's pretty popular now. TBH I appreciate the performance more than the music it self... live I can listen to just about any genre or style and like it as long as its a good performance.... especially anything with a guitar in it though:
Tommy Emmanuel- Guitar Boogie
I've heard this one before, of course, but not this rendition:
The Ventures Live: Wipe Out
...is it originally written by them?

I was watching an episode of House M.D. and they played this song called "Into Dust" by Mazzy Star. Its got a peaceful tone to it.
A little unfair to say i just discovered it but Fall of Troys F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X is awesome, even if i dont really like the band.
And on the More metal side, Roots Bloody Roots by Sepultura kicks ass, the chorus is amazing.
