Default [Moved to Vote] DimeBagHo for Opifex

    Proposer: Cymera

Supporters: The Walrus, Voltaire le Philosophe, Roman_Man#3, dvk901, Kara Kolyo, Garbarsardar, Halie Satanus, Shaun (CdeC support), Zarax

If I am proceeding incorrectly, I apologize.

While nominating DBH for several modding awards recently, I came to think that considering he is a one man team and XGM has a considerably smaller following than RTR, EB, and RS, he may not receive the recognition and honor that he does deserve. Therefore, I have come here, to try and give back what he has given me and many others.

XGM has, as I have mentioned in the past, had dozens upon dozens of versions, each improving on the last. DimeBagHo's dedication, patience, and passion have never ceased. He has never posted in anger, impatience, or frustration.

XGM has grown in popularity to a great extent. Having a very large thread and post count, especially considering its a one man show. This is a testament to Dime's character and capabilities. The flood of comments, suggestions, and recently, AAR's serve to propel the mod ever forward.

An extremely polished AI, roster overhauls, endless lists of additions and improvements, and new units are just some of the many features of XGM.

To conclude, DimeBagHo works tirelessly for this mod, and it is one of the most polished and enjoyable that I have ever played. I strongly believe that he deserves Opifex.

    Thanks for reading.

"Romans not only easily conquered those who fought by cutting, but mocked them too. For the cut, even delivered with force, frequently does not kill, when the vital parts are protected by equipment and bone. On the contrary, a point brought to bear is fatal at two inches; for it is necessary that whatever vital parts it penetrates, it is immersed. Next, when a cut is delivered, the right arm and flank are exposed. However, the point is delivered with the cover of the body and wounds the enemy before he sees it."

Nice to see all the support! This may seem like a stupid question, but what else am I supposed to do?

If I recall, this thread stays for about a week, then it goes to vote, is that correct?

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the information.

Also, do I only list CdeC members as supporters? Or can it be any Citizen?

    Thanks in advance.

However, usually only the first 4 supporters are listed (see the Tabularum), as if all the supporters were listed this would give an indication of the way in which around half the Curia voted. Not very secretive. It's no biggie though.
