How to get gold armor / weapons upgrade?

The best I'm able to give my troops is silver (if I have a foundry). But I sometimes see other nations' troops run around in gold armor. Where do they get that from?

build blacksmith bronze armourer silver and foundry gold

and sometimes some temples gives some to

Foundry gives silver upgrades. Some temples give gold upgrades. Not all factions can build these temples.

The Scipii Vulcan temple + Foundry can give you gold upgrades.

as can the sleucid temple of haephaestus for example. also temples may upgrade different units, for example some (most, actually) factions cannot get missle units with gold/gold upgrades wille the GCS with the artemis temple can. it is important you preserve such temples when they are captured.

and britain i use freya or the other one

and in gaul i fotgot the name but i gives + to missile troops

Germans have Freya, Gauls Abnoba...I think.

All gods of war give upgrade bonus in the game.

if you wanna try it go into thw hosted mods for RTW and look in the completed mods sevtions.

maybe just searching extended greek mod would be quicker
