    Default Light man at arms for Aragon

    I think I can't recruit light man at arms for Aragon. Did anybody play late era campaign in SS 5.1 with Aragon? Is it a bug? Cause it's not in unit rooster when I browse in building browser, but I have 2 a the beggining.

    Sometimes a unit or two gets forgotten.


    To add them to the game simply change the desr building file, find light men-at-arms and add a ,Aragon at the end of the faction list.


    remember to back up your desr's before you do any modding.

    Hi. I did as you said. I found export_descr_buildings and I added Aragon in the lines of Light Men at Arms after France and England. Now the show up in the building description but not in the rooster. So the building says they should be avalible but they are not??! Does something else needs to be added? This was in SS data folder.

    Yes I made it. You have to add them at export_descrt_unit at ownership too. Then it works. I also menaged to fix missing unit info card for feudal knights and dis.feudal knights for Aragon. The problem was that they were called aragones feudal knights from previous version and the engine was not reading them cause they have standard name now as feudal knights. Now my Aragon is perfect but I have to restart my campaign.

    Hi, can you answer me some question below as i am trying to add dismunted feual knight in venice faction

    First i was told to first open your "battle_midels.modeld"

    After those changes i copy the dismounted feual knight unit from the milan and paste it in the unit folder for venice and also I copy dismounted_knights_of_santiago_info from spain and paste it on unit info for venice. however everytime as i tried to log into the game it kept ctd. can you please show me what step i have done wrong plz.

    Hi.

    Dude you were doing to much stuff and dubleing things so no wonder you keep getting CTD's. I thought that they were left out on porpuse but there is one dis. feud. knight in Ragusa so it's a bug. I fixed it. You only need to add them in export_descr_buildings and it works. I can recruti dfk for Venice now.

    they where removed for several other factions as well. I believe spain and portugal dont have them anymore either. They dont have much infantry but still they where removed.

    On a related note, I noticed that the english light men at arms wear two metal helmets over each other. A tight one first over their chainmail, and then a bigger one that crossbowmen often seem to use on top of that. It looks rather silly.

    I also added light swordsmen for Spain cause they have 3 LS at the beggining but their are not in the rooster to recruit. Looks like KK was not careful when he was adding or moving units away. Other countries seem to be fine now with ligh sw. or light men at arms now for me.
